Gen X Selfie
This had to be around 1980 and this photo looks like I’m taking a selfie. It’s crazy to be the generation to grow up with rotary phones, polaroid cameras, cassette tapes and records, and Atari.
Now I have a camera and all my photos, my music and videos games on my phone! I can play Atari and Nintendo games and it still makes calls. It’s great to have grown up in both eras.
Siblings
Mine
I’ve had trouble saying no from a young age but this is ridiculous. My brother tries grabbing the lolipop and when I won’t let go he goes all in and divebombs it anyway.
My brother and I were close growing up. This is a great moment of sibling rivarly that my mom caught in these two photos.
Used | New
It’s interesting how you become irrelevant and almost invisible when you’re elderly. We apparently lose our value once we turn 30 and society deems us as used once we hit 60. My grandma was 85 in this photo with my 2 month old son and you can see her joy at his little life. It’s a shame American society pushes the elderly into cold dark corners because we feel they have no value. This is one of my favorite photos of my grandma.
